An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our dynamic and growing team. A competitive remuneration package is on offer within a fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting operations across industrial, engineering, and project-based sectors.

As the primary point of contact for mechanical operations, the Mechanical Supervisor leads and mentors a team of Mechanical Fitters and Apprentices working in close collaboration with the Head of Manufacturing and cross-functional departments to meet challenging production schedules, technical specifications, and compliance obligations.

The role is responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-performing workshop environment while driving continuous improvement, cost control, and alignment with our strategic business objectives.

Essential

  • Mechanical Fitter Trade or Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Valid Australian Drivers licence
  • Strong communication skills and safety-first mindset
  • A commitment to working in a safe manner and adherence to safe work systems
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to comply with the CS GAS and common industry "Fitness for Work" policies

    Desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar industry
  • Familiar with the requirements of working within a potentially explosive of flammable area
  • Oil & Gas and /or CBM industry experience
  • Forklift licence
  • WHS Qualifications
  • Experience working within an environment of Quality Management Systems and Safety Management Systems.
